Think in tasks.
Light work is cheap. Finished documents are the expensive part, and they cost more when the citations need a second pass to come out right. Here's what each has actually cost on real runs.
What you are doing
What it has cost- Asking a question, checking a section of an Act10–80 tokens
- A full research answer, with the citations checkedaround 800 tokens
- A complete SLP paper bookroughly 1,900–2,100 tokens
What each amount compares to
A working balance for questions and statute lookups. Short of a full research answer.
Around what one full research answer has cost. Short of a paper book.
Around what one complete paper book has cost. Heavier runs have gone past it.
One token is one rupee, and you top up whenever you want to. A real balance is a mix — a few questions, a search, a memo, a draft — so these are comparisons, not allowances.
Frequently asked
What does one token actually buy?
Think in tasks, not tokens. Tokens are one rupee each, so a ₹1,000 recharge is 1,000 tokens.
Light work is cheap. A quick question or a statute lookup usually lands between 10 and 80 tokens. Most ordinary days with Lucy cost very little.
Finished documents are the expensive part, and they are expensive because of what goes into them. A full research answer — she searches the case law, pulls the citations, then checks every one of them — has run around 800 tokens end to end. A complete SLP paper book, the heaviest thing she does, has run between roughly 1,900 and 2,100.
Those are measured from real runs, not estimates, and they vary. A document that needs a second pass to get the citations right costs more than one that comes out clean the first time. We would rather tell you the range than a tidy number you would then find out was wrong.
