Capability · Memory
She remembers your matters, so you never start from zero.
Come back to a case a week later and Miss Lucy still has the facts, the documents, and the thread you left off on. Nothing to explain again, no background to paste in again. The work picks up where it stopped.
What she does
- Remembers after you close the tab. Come back days later and the matter still has everything in it.
- Keeps your work in matters: folders that hold the chats and documents for one case or client.
- Keeps each chat to itself, so a writ petition never mixes into an unrelated bail brief.
- Brings the earlier conversation and the documents you shared into your next question, so follow-ups make sense to her.
How it works
- 1
Work lands in a matter
As you research and draft, the chats and documents for a case collect under one matter. It is a folder you can come back to, not a one-off conversation that disappears.
- 2
The case comes with the question
When you ask a follow-up, she brings in the earlier conversation and the documents you have shared. Your question is answered against the case, not as if it were a new one.
- 3
Long matters get better to work with
Every session adds to what she already holds on the case. A matter you have run for a month is better to work with than one you opened this morning, because nothing is reset.
“Where did we land on limitation in the Sharma matter?”
Three weeks ago you worked through a recovery suit: you uploaded the agreement, argued the limitation point and drafted the plaint. Today you open the matter and ask that question straight out. She remembers the cause-of-action date you settled on, the Article 113 reasoning and the draft already on file, and answers the follow-up. You do not re-upload the agreement or re-state the facts. An ordinary chatbot would have made you start again from the beginning.
By hand vs with Miss Lucy
Briefing a tool all over again on a case it should already know.
| The task | By hand | With Miss Lucy |
|---|---|---|
| Resuming a matter after a gap | Re-read your own notes and re-explain the background to the tool before it is any use | Open the matter and ask your next question — the context is already there |
| Following up on earlier work | Hunt for the right thread and attach the documents again every time | She brings the earlier conversation and the shared documents in on her own |
| Building on a long-running case | Start each session with nothing, working out again what you settled last time | Every session adds to what she holds on the matter |
What she won’t do
- Her memory covers your account and your matters. She does not draw on anyone else's cases.
- She keeps the work in order and remembers it, but what belongs in a matter is your call.
